Best Recruiting Video Ever

I must say, I especially love the line, "from corrupt politicians who have never seen combat themselves." However, the entire thing is just genius. I suppose that when I joined the Marines, it was possible to believe that things were like they are portrayed in the commercials, but I always thought the shit with the monsters and diamonds and lakes of fire and whatnot were just silly as all hell.

This is great! Thanks Adam, it's good to be able to laugh about all of this once in awhile, Bullet Penetration Syndrome- that's a different way to put it....oh, and I'm feeling so relieved to know that large doses of Fox News will cure my 'rational thought' problem(throw in some Rush Limbaugh and I'll be cured for life!) I have to watch it again...

I was a GED away from joining the Corps. But like the Army, it was mostly out of needing a job and less about Dungeons and Dragons.

I'm really sick of what I call pro-war cowards. The ones who support the war as long as others are fighting it. Even veterans who think Iraq is worth fighting for, though they got out. Apparently it's not worth their time.

That guy posing with Dubya who looks like he took a claymore to the face. He looks within enlistment age. It's up to 44 now.

But wait... then his life would be in danger.

Ronn,
Enlistment age is any age where you can serve up to 20 years by the time you are 62. So if you served 10 years from the age of 18 to 28, and then wanted to reenlist, you could potentially reenlist at the age of 52 because you would have given 20 years by the time you're 62.
But that's just some info I thought I'd pass along.
Hope you're doing well.
